Dallas, Texas February 6, 2018 — Two Chicagoland golf clubs – Ruffled Feathers Golf Club and Eagle Brook Country Club, both in the Arcis Golf portfolio of clubs – have won recognition in the prestigious 2018 Golden Fork Awards presented by Golf Inc. magazine.
The new “Feathers Bar & Grill” clubhouse restaurant at Ruffled Feathers GC in Lemont was selected as the runner-up in the Most Improved Public Club Facilities category, while “Sanctuary Kitchen & Cocktails” at Eagle Brook CC in Geneva earned Honorable Mention honors as a top-three finalist in the Most Improved Private Club Facilities category.
Ruffled Feathers and Eagle Brook were up against elite clubs worldwide, with the final judging based on criteria that included guest satisfaction, aesthetics, service, menus, revenue and capital improvements.
Golf Inc.’s third annual Golden Fork Awards recognize only 12 golf venues that have introduced new dining facilities or improved existing culinary options during the past year.
